watermarks.

i’ve been meaning to start watermarking my collages and polaroids for a while now, because they are my most viewed and most favorite’d pictures on flickr and because they always show up all over fffffound, weheartit and tumblr and i’m sick of people not crediting back to me. i finally got around to watermarking the “sometimes it’s hard book” that i made last year. i’m sure this will result in broken links all over the place now but i feel better now that i’ve watermarked this book! this book is definitely one of my most popular things in my flickr photostream. now i just have to start watermarking everything else…which is a huge pain but needs to be done!

i made this collage totally spur of the moment this morning, after i found that feather on the sidewalk on the way to my office. this is the first collage that i’ve made that isn’t “personal” to me so i wasn’t sure how it would turn out. i’m actually happy with the results so i’ve decided to put it up for sale on etsy. depending on how this turns out and if it does sell, i’ll probably start trying to sell more collages on etsy and eventually offer custom collages as well.check out my etsy listing HERE thanks!!

i’ve got two new collages this week. both are made using recycled books and polaroids and both are inspired by lyrics- the first being death cab lyrics and the second being bloc party lyrics. i really enjoy making my collages. i’m so glad i started doing these!
